THE TUXEDO - TV Film Review 26/8/06

Recorded from TV on a Friday night and watched Saturday afternoon you pretty much know where you stand with a Jackie Chan film! All the usual staples of the diet are here - A lot of slapstick and jokes, a bit of romance with a hint of danger as a side serving. Followed by the head villain and his henchman getting a good trouncing near the end of the film and foiling their dastardly plot (add obligatory nonsense plot here!) with more jokes and fun and then a pile of bloopers as the credits roll - Chuck in some fancy martial arts moves and there's your film! Nothing overly dramatic - Just fairly entertaining in a watch-once mode then forget about. Available on Region 1 (USA) & Region 2 (UK) DVD.
